this post is LONG overdue!  i think it took me extra long because i had a really hard time choosing the photos, so i practically added them all.  jenn and kevin are the definition of cuteness. they exude it. some couples are giggly, others a little funnycrazy.. these two are adorable.   i first beheld the cuteness during their engagement session last October and couldn’t get over the love in the air every time they looked at each other.  fast forward several months later, they are married and still gazing.   but don’t let the adorablness fool you.  this was one of the most .. festive.. parties i’ve been to in my career.  there was some bon jovi.  there were firefighters. there was some dancing.  there was some singing.  and there may have been a little alcohol involved.  it was WAY TO MUCH FUN!  congrats you guys!!

mhairi just turned two!  she is FEARLESS and tested my jungle gym skills to the max.  she is high energy and a suspected future adrenaline junkie. her favorite color is orange.  she loves tomatoes, has an insatiable appetite for the movie Cars and currently is reading the latest copy of the Thomas the Train catalog (ignoring the Thomas the Train that was actually in the box).  when not taking buildings in single bounds, she is often seen giving her new little brother cute little kisses.

and meet Seadan!  also known as the Shade-man and sometimes Captain Hamstring.  he is five months old and just.. cute.  he is an impressive drooler, pooper and eater.  he loves long walks in the park and romantic boob milk dinners by candlelight.  he’s been working on standing since week 1 and is expected to grow into his huge eyes sometime around age 17.

i should also mention he is wholly unimpressed with my usual antics. LOVE THEM! And love you Joel an Ro.  I hope it’s not another year before i get to back and visit.  i can’t wait to see these little love bugs grow. I just hope they don’t get too big…  I kinda like them this size.

i’ve had such a wonderful time getting to know amy and dave.  they are an easy going and super fun-loving couple and their wedding day was a perfect reflection of them.  they held their wedding at the beautiful Lakewood Country Club, and the day it had it all and more- a lovely location, tons of loving friends and family, great dance action and plenty of fun personal touches. they love dancing, good food, Lost and even.. zombies.   big huge thanks, congrats and hugs out to both of you. (and i just read on facebook you’ll be moving.. best wishes to you in your new home- i’m so excited for you!!)

meet ahne and greg!  they are fun, dynamic, kind and are my kind of couple.. they love to laugh.   they are probably also the most laid back couple i’ve ever had the pleasure of working with- and you know a bride is laid back when she’s willing to (no, make that insists on..) eating ice cream in her dress prior to walking down the aisle. their senses of humor were pervasive throughout the day, and I loved every minute of it.  Ahne is also one of the funniest and most expressive gals I’ve ever met- just loved it.

we started the day at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria and then had lots of time to run around the cute streets of Old Town before heading to the water where they were married on the Cherry Blossom (I had I’m on a Boat stuck in my head for days leading up to the wedding).  it was a small, intimate affair that was so Ahne and Greg.  perfect.
