if i haven’t said enough, i’ll say it again.  i love Farmville!  i first visited farmville two years ago when i had the privilege of shooting Annie and John’s wedding.  i fell in love with absolutely everything.  the drive down was even amazing.  once i got off of 95, i put the windows down and turned the music off and just listened to the crickets.  the farm itself is gorgeous.  there are tons of trees, a pond, barns, animals and tall grass… it’s a photographer’s dream.  but drew me closest to farmville, were the families.  i just instantly felt at home.  when Annie’s sister, Alex emailed me and told me she and Will were getting hitched and invited me to come down, i just couldn’t wait to see everyone again.

alex and will are such a light hearted, sweet and fun-loving couple!  it’s no surprise that their day was super fun and special as well.  they were married on the pond at the Patteson farm.  it turned out to be a really cool early-fall day but they managed to keep warm and keep laughing and smiling.  the party kept on going at the Farmville Country Club.  great music, great food and lots of dancing!

one of the many ways Alex and Will scored cool points.. at just the mention of running rough fields they were all in, and then laughed at all of the hitch hikers Alex picked up on her dress.  not even kidding, I am still finding them in random places.

Jeanie and Tony are engaged.. and getting married THIS WEEKEND!  with the fall colors just starting to peek out, we ran around the National Arboretum on a particularly fantastic day and romped through fields.  it was gorgeous.  and these two couldn’t be any cuter.   i can’t wait for this weekend!

wowweeeeee!  Stacy and Geoff are married, and what a wedding!  they were married at the lovely Woodend Sanctuary, which is one of my absolute favorite places in the DC area.  the house and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous.  Stacy and Geoff are two of the coolest people i’ve ever met.  they’re funny, smart, well traveled and … well, i’m just in couple love and i want them to be my best friends.  they’re amazing together and you have to love it when two such fabulous people, who were obviously meant to be together, find each other.   congrats you two!!  enjoy the sneak peek

Geoff proposed to Stacy on a bike ride from DC to Mt Vernon.  Local artist/illustrator/paper-goods diva Nichole Chandler brought the theme together in so many unique ways.  the bike is adorable!  she even drew and screen printed their proposal ride onto a canvas bag. how cool is that??  love love the glasses, too.
