hello! i’m kim. i am a photographer specializing in creative, FUN, documentary style wedding and portrait photography.

i'm a caffeine addict. traveler of far flung places. netflix fiend. canon slave. former professional student. closeted midwesterner. lover of hbo series. a mediocre cook. terrible speller. vegan. reader of non-fiction. and perhaps most importantly, have a heart that is most quickly won over by honesty, humility, passion, a dark sense of humor and frequent feedings of thai food.

i am a northern virginia based wedding photographer, serving primarily the washington DC metro area with ocassional stops in sunny san diego. i love to travel, and am available to shoot world-wide.

meet rachel and jeff! i’ve been so excited to meet these two and loved hanging out with them and running around old town. we played in doorways, on cobble stoned sidewalks, street corners and even got kicked off a pier.. they are fearless, down for anything, and i love it! i can’t tell you how greatful i am this all came together- there is a bit more to the story as to how we met, but i’m going to save it for the grand finale, which is THIS coming weekend! whooohooo! i can’t wait!!
