a passage to india

visa

whoohooo!  i’m going to india!  and yikes.. in five days!  getting a ticket was tricky, but getting the visa was trickier.  because i still held a CA drivers license they wanted me to apply in San Francisco.  i also had to have pages added to my passport.  then jump through a few more hoops.. it was a little crazy and involved some serious hours in various government offices.. but all was forgotten about five minutes ago when mr. fedex man showed up with my passport.

i’ll be there for a few weeks, doing as much volunteering as I can in Mumbai and traveling for the rest.  details are far from hammered out.  in fact.. i have a flight and a visa and that’s about it.. i’m having trouble finding housing, but hey.. good things come to those who buy tickets and jump impulsively.

i’ll still be online as much as possible and still working.  i’m switching over to album making mode at 4pm after i return from a massive post office run.  travel suggestions welcome!  and if you happen to have a relative or friend in mumbai with a spare room, i’ll take that too:)

xoxo
