i knew from our first interactions that cami and chris’ wedding was going to be great. her emails were funny. she is witty and smart and so free spirited. when i met chris, i was struck by how in love he is with cami and his genuineness and sweetness. he is also british and comes complete with that grand accent that makes girls swoon.
and hey, they have great taste in music. in fact, if it wasn’t for their mutual love of death cab, none of this would have come to fruition. they met on a fan board. one thing lead to another, and chris finally made the trip across the pond where they fell in loooooove. they also made an adorable little baby girl, guinevere (you guys lucked out with a girl, i want to know what the boy name would have been!), who was born just a week before the ceremony!!!
the wedding was held at the lovely Lindley Scott House in Azusa. I just love it here!
cami has some downright adorable nieces and nephews. and i mean adorable. they all have super huge personalities. her artistically inclined nephew was the videographer for the day. how cool is that? it was nice for me cuz i could actually shoot over him. can’t say that’s ever happened before.
cami’s brother, the head of Team Durazzo, walked her down the aisle AND was the officiant. he gets my favorite quote to the start of a ceremony ever..
“Mawwage! Mawwage is wut bwings us togwether today..”
introducing little Gwen! (and her full head of hair) adorable.
my favorite shots are always taken when people think i’m not looking.
Team Durazzo performs Can You Feel the Love Tonight from the Lion King. I had trouble taking pics of this cuz i was laughing so freaking hard. this kids cracked me up! it is very rare that i wish i had a video camera, but i did at that moment (oh, but ask and i shall receive?)
the party portion of the night was filled with lots of kick-ass music (thier first dance was to Clem Snide), laughs and kids dancing and doing the robot. with two families coming together across continents, a marriage and a brand new family, there was lots to celebrate! thanks again to everyone for such a great day!
