meet ahne and greg! they are fun, dynamic, kind and are my kind of couple.. they love to laugh. they are probably also the most laid back couple i’ve ever had the pleasure of working with- and you know a bride is laid back when she’s willing to (no, make that insists on..) eating ice cream in her dress prior to walking down the aisle. their senses of humor were pervasive throughout the day, and I loved every minute of it. Ahne is also one of the funniest and most expressive gals I’ve ever met- just loved it.
we started the day at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria and then had lots of time to run around the cute streets of Old Town before heading to the water where they were married on the Cherry Blossom (I had I’m on a Boat stuck in my head for days leading up to the wedding). it was a small, intimate affair that was so Ahne and Greg. perfect.

they invited me to the hospital to meet this special little man today and feel honored that i was invited to be there and do a little impromptu photo session. i’m also so incredibly touched. being present for someone’s wedding is incredible, but this is something totally new and different for me and somewhat unexpected. to be present the day after the birth of a child is.. i don’t know. i need a thesaurus, but again, amazing.
